Police CarVictorville was the first city to contract with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department for police services. As such, the Victorville Police Department has been serving the community since 1962. The Victorville Police Department is responsible for providing public safety services to a geographical area of over 74 square miles and to a population of approximately 135,000 residents.

The staff of the Victorville Police Department works as a cohesive team comprised of multiple units. In addition to the Patrol and Detective units, the station operates a Gang detail, Traffic detail, Multiple Enforcement Team, School Resource Officers, CPS/APS officers, and a Reserve Deputy unit. 

The staff at the Victorville Police Department is committed to working as a team to provide the highest level of service to the Victorville community.
