Thank you for your interest in conducting business in the City of Victorville! The following information will assist you with the application process through issuance of your Business License.

WHO wants to be a Vendor?

The Business License Division is here to help YOU!  Before beginning the application process, you must decide which type of Vendor you want to be.

 WHAT are the types of Vendors?

  • Sidewalk Vendor is any individual/entity (business) who sells food, beverages, or merchandise, from a pushcart, stand, display, pedal-driven cart, wagon, showcase, rack, or other non-motorized conveyance, or from one's person upon a public sidewalk or a pedestrian path.  A Sidewalk Vendor includes both a Roaming and a Stationary Sidewalk Vendor.
  • Vehicle Vendor is any individual/entity (business) who sells and makes immediate delivery, any food, beverages, or merchandise from a mobile vending vehicle.
  • An Event Vendor is any individual/entity (business) who sells food, beverages, or merchandise, and offers for sale and makes immediate delivery of such, at a City permitted Special Event ONLY.

WHEN & WHERE can a Vendor operate?

Vendors will be approved to operate once their Business License has been issued.

Licensed Vendors may vend in any of the pre-approved locations, or may request a new location be evaluated for approval to vend.

WHY is a Business License required?

A Business License is required to operate as a Vendor business so that the City can ensure the Health and Safety of the community and its residents.

 Application Checklists
