If you already have a license and it is about to expire, renew today! Remember to keep your vaccinations current because you must provide a copy of the rabies certificate during the renewal process.
Free License
The city is currently offering an amnesty for new dog licenses for the remainder of 2023! This amnesty is open to City of Victorville residents. To qualify for amnesty, the dog must be microchipped. If your canine family member is not microchipped, the Animal Care & Control can do this for free. Call the Animal Care & Control Office at (760) 955- 5089 for more information or to make your microchip appointment.
License requirements
To license your canine family member, you will need to have it vaccinated against the rabies virus and provide us with a copy of its current rabies certificate. A certificate of sterility is also required for all canines that are spayed or neutered. See below for pricing.

** Note: Initial unaltered dog license is $171.13, annual renewals are $50.21.
Replacement tags can be purchased for $3.14 for spayed and neutered dogs / $5.24 for unaltered dogs.
Transfers of valid licenses from other jurisdictions can be done for $5.24.
