Home MenuAnimal Care and Control Fostering Program
Our Animal Care & Control Division is seeking volunteers who can open their homes to the animals in our care.
Please consider fostering an animal through this program.
Duration- We have two foster options:
Weekend- We are looking for volunteers who are willing to foster pets for the weekend, so they receive the social interaction animals require to maintain optimal health.
Long-Term- Once an animal is placed in your care, the length of the foster may vary based on your availability or until the dog is adopted or placed with a rescue, but the foster may not exceed one year.
Animal Care & Control will provide all supplies needed for any of the animals fostered including food, vaccinations, vet visits (if needed), and crate/ puppy pads (extras as needed).
Animal Care & Control will also transport the animal to their new foster home if requested.
If you are interested in fostering a dog, please complete an application by clicking on the application button below.
Animal Care & Control staff are available to answer questions you may have (760) 955-5089.
While an animal is being fostered through the City of Victorville Fostering Program, the animal will still be available for adoption.
