Business Tire Disposal
Businesses may dispose of tires for a fee at San Bernardino County's Victorville Landfill at 18600 Stoddard Wells Rd. Victorville, CA (909) 386-8701 or (800) 722-8004
The fees (as of August, 2018) for disposal at the Victorville Landfill, and all County disposal sites are:
$13.39 for up to 300 pounds of residential waste
$59.94 per ton for residential waste over 300 pounds
$113.08 per ton for waste requiring special handling
Tires--$5.31 each for up to 9 tires*. (Rollable, off the rim)
*Note: State law requires every person who transports 10 or more used/waste tires to hold a valid waste tire hauler registration. The law also requires compliance with the provisions of the used and waste tire manifest program. State law requires persons receiving 10 or more used/waste tires from unregistered haulers to report the hauler to CalRecycle.
Unsecured/uncovered loads at the County Landfill are subject to an additional charge that doubles your disposal fee, so make sure you “cover your load before you hit the road!”
Business with large numbers of tires can hire a registered tire hauler. Find a CA registered tire hauler here.
