• Per CA State Law AB 341, effective July 2012, recycling is mandatory.
• AB 341 requires all multi-family housing units of five (5) units and above to recycle. 
• Victorville Municipal Code Section 6.36 requires the separation of designated recyclable materials from trash. 

The good news is that recycling is good for the environment, and it can help reduce trash disposal bills for your complex. The City wants to partner with owners and managers of apartment, condo, mobile home communities and other multifamily businesses to help their tenants become successful at recycling.
