The City of Victorville holds three Free Dump Days per year for City residents to dispose of appliances, toilets, mattresses, old furniture, yard trimmings, wood, scrap metal, and extra trash at no charge.

The 2024 Free Dump Days are scheduled for March 9, July 20, and November 16, 2024.

The events will take place at 16925 Forrest Ave. (former U-Prep/V V Jr High School campus) from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm. Please enter from 8th Street. Call (760) 955-8615 for more information, or click here for a flier for this event.

Attendees must unload their own vehicles.  Materials must be placed into bins on site:  no dumping on the ground.  To divert materials from landfill, attendees are requested to keep garden trimmings, cardboard, and scrap metals separate and to place recyclable materials in designated containers during the Free Dump Day.

No commercial haulers, commercial waste, or commercial vehicles will be allowed in the event.

No tires, TVs, computers, electronics, or hazardous materials will be accepted at this event.  Tires and electronics can be dropped off all year at the City's Recycling Drop-off Center.  Household hazardous waste can be dropped off at the HHW Center.

Proof of current City of Victorville residency is required to participate in the Free Dump Day.  Please bring a picture ID AND a recent utility bill for services to your address located in the City of Victorville.  Examples of accepted utility bills are water/trash, electric, gas, or cable.  (Note:  Your photo ID address does not have to match your utility bill address.  The recent utility bill is to prove you live in the City.  The photo ID is to prove you are the person listed on the utility bill.)

County unincorporated areas such as Spring Valley Lake, Mountain View Acres, and other unincorporated areas do not qualify for the City of Victorville Free Dump Days.

Victorville Free Dump Days are sponsored by Victorville Disposal/Burrtec Waste Industries and the City of Victorville.

DO YOU REALLY NEED TO WAIT FOR FREE DUMP DAY?

NOTE:  The City has FREE, year-round drop-off programs for garden trimmings, furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, cardboard, and household hazardous waste including motor oil, filters, and paint.  For more information, please go to www.VictorvilleCA.gov/DumpItRightVV.
