The City of Victorville is excited to announce the new eco-friendly additions to our City parks. As outlined in our Strategic Plan and Parks and Recreation Master Plan, several City parks will now be home to our first Smart Benches!

The City of Victorville is the first City in California to introduce eco-friendly Smart Benches to our community! The Smart Benches will serve as a free Wi-Fi hotspot near our playground areas, providing wireless internet to our community.  The Smart Benches offer various features including solar powered lights, charging ports, and more! Community members can stay up to date on City communications by checking out the two large, illuminated displays on each side of the Smart Bench.

Check out the eco-friendly Smart Benches at Hook Community Park and Sunset Ridge Park! Brentwood Park and Doris Davies Skate Park will soon receive Smart Benches once the installation is complete.

HOW TO CONNECT TO Wi-Fi

• Open your devices Setting App
• Tap Network & Internet
• Look for the Smart Benches Wi-Fi name (i.e. Hook Park - Smart Bench, Sunset Ridge Park - Smart Bench)
• Click on the Smart Bench Wi-Fi
• Your device should then connect to the Smart Bench Wi-Fi Hotspot
